Hi Stephanie! Tell us a little bit about yourself!

I'm 31 years old this year and I live with my boyfriend Carl-Walter Fox and our Corgi Elli.

How did you end up at Grevlunda Showjumping?

Lisen asked me back in 2013 if I wanted to start working with them. Of course, I did! It’s the best decision ever.

What does a regular week look like for you?

Normally riding Monday-Wednesday at home and then showing on the weekends.

How many horses do you ride a day? Is there one (or more) horse that is a little more special/closer to your heart at the moment?

I ride 8 horses a day. All horses are very special, but Sparrow, Skylander and Prudence Castanoo are my favourites atm.

Why show jumping?

I did a bit of dressage and eventing when I was younger. But show jumping is the perfect thing in between!

Can you describe yourself as a rider with three words?

Calm, balanced and careful.

Working full time as a rider is truly a lifestyle. What keeps you motivated?

The horses and all the inspiring people around me keep me motivated.

What would you have told yourself 10 years ago?

Always learn from the best.

Which qualities are you looking for in a talented show jumping horse?

Braveness, carefulness, and power.

Do you have any jumping exercises you swear to when training a young horse?

We use many different exercises, so it’s hard to choose one or two. You must practice a bit of everything!

Favourite event destination?

Falsterbo and Gothenburg.

Favourite destination for going on holiday?

I love to experience new places!

Three things you always bring with you to the stable?

My dog Elli, Kingsland breeches and my phone.

Do you get nervous before competitions? If so, how do you work mentally before competitions?

If I get nervous, I think about that I'm well prepared for what's coming.

Favorite TV-show?

Right now, I'm watching Chicago fire.

Where are you in 10 years?

Time will tell!
